Virtual Events
Virtual Events
These are licenses for virtual events. Public Performance Rights (PPR), a.k.a. a Public Screening License, allows the public screening of Deej by organizations or individuals. This is required whether the screening is free or admission is charged.
Please note: you must contact us for permission for all virtual events, both free or ticketed. Public performance rights are now included for in-person events with the purchase of either the: K-12/non-profit DVD, college/university level DVD or an institutional DSL license but this does not apply to virtual screenings.
For virtual events, we will provide digital film files; it is up to the host to coordinate a secure method to screen the film. We are available to discuss options for this.
***Please contact us for all virtual, online events for permission. We can also provide a discount code so that you won’t be charged for shipping.***
If you are planning a school-wide, staff training or public event, please be sure to fill out this event form.
We will provide an extensive screening toolkit, containing a detailed event planning guide, flyer and press release templates, a press kit, a discussion guide created by DJ Savarese, and more. We’ll also actively promote the event on social media.
If a host wishes to hold a fundraiser event, charge admission or take donations:
You must first contact us to share your plans for using the film and request approval.
Get in touch with us if you’d like more information about bringing a member of the Deej team to your event!
