This DVD + PPR package includes:

Two DVDs, one with the 53-minute and one with the 72-minute version of Deej. Each DVD includes an additional 30 minutes of video extras. All segments contain options for closed captions and descriptive subtitles for the Deaf and hard of hearing, and audio description for the blind.

Public Screening Rights

These DVD packages come with a license that provides for classroom, staff and library use and allows for unlimited public performance rights for free events only. If you are planning a school-wide, staff training or public event, please fill out this event form before your event.

If you wish to charge a fee at your event or to use the film to raise donations, please contact us to license the rights to do so.

This package covers use at your institution or organization only, one order per site or branch. Please contact us if you’d like to discuss a bulk rate for an entire school district.

It also does not cover use in a conference or theatrical setting. If you would like to use the film for a conference, please visit our Public Performance Rights page or contact us for details.

Versions

The 53-minute version tells DJ’s story powerfully but succinctly in a length that works well for classrooms and informal meetings. This is also our broadcast version, edited for television.

The 72-minute version allows viewers to gain even deeper and more detailed insights into DJ’s thoughts and perceptions. We recommend using the longer version, unless you are facing time constraints.
